🚨 Pair of skimmers found, investigation underway

Hilltown Police are investigating a pair of ATM skimming devices that were discovered at a Wawa in town within days of each other.

Skimmers are hidden card readers used to commit fraud. They are affixed to actual ATM terminals and swipe credit card numbers and PIN codes. The latter makes the devices of particular concern since they can be used to make fraudulent cash withdrawals.

Cops said the first was detected on May 5 and removed. The second was found on May 11. Both devices were attached to a PNC Bank ATM on the premises.

It is unknown how long the devices were in place or how many customers may have been impacted.. Police are working with Wawa to obtain surveillance footage; they advise any patrons who used the ATM between May 1 and May 11 to check their accounts for suspicious activity.

Meet Noodle, a four-year-old lax mix currently being fostered by Home At Last Dog Rescue.

Noodle was rescued as a stray in Georgia before making her way up north. She is a very calm and obedient companion. While Noodle may take a little time to warm up to new people and can be a bit shy, her overall demeanor is silly and joyful. She loves having the backs of her ears scratched and cuddling with you on the couch. Noodle is currently crate- and house-trained. She would do best in a quieter household with older children and a yard.
