Doylestown Township patio fire closes Route 202 intersection

Three area fire companies responded to a reported patio fire on the 1900 block of Lower State Road near Almshouse Road and Castle Valley Park in Doylestown Township Monday afternoon. The incident closed down Lower State Road at Route 202 causing area traffic delays for quite some time.

Rescue Of The Week: Hank, a 1-year-old retriever

Home At Last Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Hank, a 1-year-old retriever, as the featured rescue of the week. Hank came from South Carolina, before he made his way to his current foster home in North Wales, through Home At Last Dog Rescue. 

Hank is a very loving dog who would make a wonderful lifelong companion. While he still has some puppy energy, he’s just as happy being a cuddly couch potato when he’s not running around the yard. He is house-and-crate trained, and he gets along great with other dogs. Hank would thrive in almost any household. Ideally, his new home would have another dog, though that’s not a requirement.
