Doylestown woman charged with attempted murder after brutal knife attack on Saturday, police say

Doylestown woman charged with attempted murder after brutal knife attack on Saturday, police say

A Doylestown woman was taken into custody at the scene by police, according to police reports, when she was found in blood-soaked clothing. Robin McClain McNamara, 51, is facing attempted murder charges after an incident on July 12, police said.

Police found a man with a deep laceration to his head that reached the skull, and McNamara told them she thought the blood came from her breaking the man’s nose.

Rescue of the Week: Poppy, a 5-month-old boxer

Home At Last Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Poppy, a 5-month-old boxer, as the featured rescue of the week. 

Poppy came from South Carolina, before she made her way to her current foster home in Maple Glen, through Home At Last Dog Rescue.

Poppy is a very friendly girl, who loves to meet new people. She does well with other dogs and loves to shower you with kisses. Poppy still exhibits some puppy behaviors and will need someone willing to train her. She would do great in just about any household. Poppy has a cleft palate and lip that will require surgery around 8-12 months. Her new family will need support her ongoing recovery and special needs.
