Warrington Police are investigating an alleged attempted abduction of a female high school student last week.

The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. last Monday in the Willow Knoll section of the township. The victim, an 18-year-old, said a masked man jumped out of a truck and tried to grab her as she was walking to her school bus. The East Rockhill Board of Supervisors has approved plans to build 24 new single-family homes on Three Mile Run Road. 🚦Traffic pattern change in Hilltown

An important note if you will be driving in Hilltown: A new traffic pattern will be in place at Bethlehem Pike and Schoolhouse Road for the next few months. Left turns are restricted at the intersection for safety reasons related to a detour for bridge construction. Work will continue through at least May; more information on the project can be found here.

🐶 Rescue Dog of the Week

James Short | Central Bucks Now

Meet Jewel, a two-year-old Labrador Retriever being fostered through Home At Last Dog Rescue.

She made her way to the area from South Carolina and is the perfect mix of medium energy and love. Jewel loves to meet new people, walks well on a leash and is crate- and house-trained. She does great with other dogs and would fit well in a home with older kids.

If you are interested in adopting Jewel or would like more information, you can reach out to Home At Last Dog Rescue at [email protected] or visit the group's website.
