The exterior of Pennridge High was vandalized with a chalk swastika drawing last month.
Principal Tim Keddie said the school district is investigating the "symbol of hate" in an email to parents. There are no established suspects and surveillance footage did not identify the perpetrator.
Pennridge's response has drawn criticism. Keddie's email came after the co-founder of the RIDGE Network, a parent-led advocacy group, questioned the school district about the incident at its Dec. 2 meeting. The American Jewish Committee has also expressed concerns, calling the school district's response "ambiguous" and "belated."
